The MXR M236 Super Badass Variac Fuzz is basically a dream come true for any and all lovers of vintage fuzz. Here, the voltage is variable and can be set between 5 and 15 Volts, with every setting below 9V resulting in a much sought-after sag effect, while every setting above 9V results in brilliantly bright, wide-open fuzz the more the input power is turned up. Sounds very dirty with the variac knob 5v!good for stoners, blues, sludge, grunge.. Good fuzz pedal.
